^ My inspiration. (Earlier photography works)
I love taking black & white pictures and highlighting something in them. I want to take this idea and make it into my concentration by taking black and white pictures of ordinary things and highlighting something that makes it great and that makes it stand out. I'm not quite sure if I'm going to make any of the pictures above apart of my concentration but this is what kind of photographs I am going for.
I want to show how life isn't always just black and white. I want to have some of the simplist things be in color because the simple things can matter the most.
"enjoy the little things in life , for one day you'll look back and realize they are the big things"
I think this quote relates to my theme also. I want to show the little things in a black and white scene.
Great! I like the quote you are using to guide your theme. The idea of using emphasis (color v. black & white) will be a strong connecting quality, I think you should narrow your theme a little more. For example, based on your current works, you could focus on human interaction with nature through reflections/ refletive surfaces. Or the beauty in urban decay. If you only use emphasis, but do not have a deeper connection, I think it will be harder for your viewers to connect with your work.
