Second concentration piece

This is a small building near my home.
It isn't that run down but you can
see it's getting there by the rust and
old look of the building .

beauty in urban decay

The central idea of my concentration is to show the beauty of urban decay. Something about old run down buildings stands out to me. I want to show how urban decay can be beautiful in the simplest form, just by adding one color.
My work shows one color of the building. It makes you focus on the beautiful color of the building instead of how it is run-down.

Fixed up a bit ..

Okay, My idea for my concentration was kind of vague. It wouldn't really be the same subject in the photos & that's not what I want. I'm going to keep the same concept of the simple things are the big and beautiful things. In the first blog entry I posted one of my photographs of the old building with the orange windows. I want to get pictures of old buildings that have something beauiful on them. To show how something old and useless, like an abaondoned building, can be beatuful.
My first picture will be the one I already did, the buliding with orange windows. The second is going to be of another old buliding with art or graffiti on it. I plan on going down town and looking for old buildings that are rundown, abandoned, or just look old.

CONCENTRATION IDEA ;;

^ My inspiration. (Earlier photography works)
I love taking black & white pictures and highlighting something in them. I want to take this idea and make it into my concentration by taking black and white pictures of ordinary things and highlighting something that makes it great and that makes it stand out. I'm not quite sure if I'm going to make any of the pictures above apart of my concentration but this is what kind of photographs I am going for.
I want to show how life isn't always just black and white. I want to have some of the simplist things be in color because the simple things can matter the most.

"enjoy the little things in life , for one day you'll look back and realize they are the big things"
I think this quote relates to my theme also. I want to show the little things in a black and white scene.
